Lachlan Platt

Get ready for Lachlan Platt, as he prepares for a laid-back, unplugged solo gig. An incredible young blues guitarist, Lachlan’s grasp of the blues and guitar playing seem instinctive. His unique voice can cut through crowd chatter with ease and hold a rooms attention. Recently performing at the following events - The Tasman Bay Blues Festival, Harbour Street Jazz and Blues Festival and the Canterbury Folk Festival, Lachlan will be joining the Canterbury Blues Club for a short, intimate set as one of New Zealand's rising blues stars.
Still Sneakin' Around
Ray Pyne and Aart Kuiper are still Sneakin’ Around! Reuniting for the first time since the Christchurch earthquakes, these two seasoned bluesmen were once part of a band called The Beagle Boys - a group whose debut album was fittingly titled Sneakin’ Around. Now, they're back together and ready to bring a rich mix of Chicago and Delta style blues to the Canterbury Blues Club.

The Groomsmen
Phil Doublet, Todd Jones, and Al Olds are The Groomsmen. This band brings serious musicianship to the stage, with years of experience and a deep feel for the blues. Their style is electric blues, with a mix of well-loved covers and their own original tunes. Phil, Todd, and Al are looking forward to the band’s debut at the Canterbury Blues Club - almost as much as the club is looking forward to having them play. Not to be missed.
